Ukrainian Arbitration Association and UBA Students’ League held the 2nd Arbitration school
On 7-11 May 2014 in the premises of leading law firms Baker&McKenzie and Asters the 2nd Arbitration School, jointly organized by the Ukrainian Arbitration Association and the Students’ League of the Ukrainian Bar Association, was being held.
The opening ceremony was started by Olena Perepelynska, coordinator and speaker of the 2nd Arbitration school. The representatives of the Ukrainian Bar Association, the UBA Students’ League also addressed to the participants of the event with welcoming speeches.
The intensive five-day program of the School encompassed general and specialized courses in international arbitration. Trainings were provided in the form of lectures, interactive workshops, mock case and visit to the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The working language was English. Among almost 30 participants there were representatives from Ukraine, Germany and Georgia. And among speakers there were Ukrainian and foreign arbitrators and lawyers: Inga Kacevska, Yaroslav Petrov, Vladimir Khvalei, Volodymyr Yaremko, Olexander Droug, Andrey Panov, James Clifford, Maciej Zachariasiewicz, Ihor Siusel, Dmytro Zagorodnyuk, Olga Troshchenovych, Ilya Nikiforov, Dmytro Marchukov, Oleh Beketov, Ivan Kasynyuk and Tatyana Slipachuk.
The organizers thank all participants, Baker&McKenzie, Asters, Muranov, Chernyakov and Partners, each of the speakers for assistance in conduction of the 2nd Arbitration school.
