Training centers of seafarers: recognition by flag administration

Interlegal, jointly with the Panamanian associated office, succeeded in the first ever in Ukraine recognition of the Ukrainian Training Center of Seafarers by the Panama Maritime Authority.

Maritime Training Centers, recognized and approved by the Panama Maritime Authority, are authorized to issue Certificates of Employment to seafarers for 3 years on behalf of the Flag of Panama (under the provisions of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978, as amended).
