Avellum Partners speaks on International Tax Seminar

Avellum Partners announces today that it participated in the International Tax Seminar (“Seminar”), jointly organized by IFA Ukraine and IFA Netherlands, which took place on 28 March 2013 in Radisson Blu Hotel.

The focus of the Seminar was drawn to the International Tax Structuring Strategies for Ukrainian Business in 2013. Among speakers of the Seminar were the foreign and local leading experts in international taxation.

The Seminar program included topics on the most influential tax rules and concepts affecting cross-border deals and structures in-between Ukraine and the Netherlands. Additionally, the panelists discussed matters of the UK tax legislation, which could be of particular importance for Ukrainian business. Perspective of other jurisdictions were also presented.

Vadim Medvedev, Associate of Avellum Partners, participated as speaker and moderator in the IP session of the Seminarю. Speakers in this session discussed in detail taxation of royalties in the Netherlands, UK and Ukraine and elaborated on certain practical options for structuring of IP ownership and royalty payments to companies in these jurisdictions.
