On the Environment Day, Konnov & Sozanovsky associates planted trees
On April 20th, the Environment Day, Konnov & Sozanovsky associates planted 11 young lime trees. As agreed with the utility enterprise of green plantations maintenance in Kiev Solomenkiy district, the trees were planted in the park named after Ostrovskiy.
- Such activity occurred for the first time in our firm, and I am sure we will definitely repeat it. On April 20th, lawyers and administrative stuff gathered in the park, colleagues took kids and other family members. So the event was not only useful, but also quite fun. We appreciate help and advice of workers of the park and Kievzelenstroy, - commented Alexey Ivanov, Konnov & Sozanovsky managing partner.
Planting trees was the activity in the framework of the “Green office” project started in March 2013. The program is aimed at rational use of natural resources in every-day office work. Thus, the firm’s associates collect used batteries and paper for recycling. On April 9th, 1074 waste paper was given for recycling. This money was used for the purchase of the trees planted.
