IX Annual Legal Forum «Development of Legal Services Market in Ukraine — 2013»
The Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) held ninth Annual Legal Forum "Development of Legal Services Market in Ukraine - 2013" - the crucial event of the year for leaders and partners of law firms and business development managers.
Given the nature of the forum, is not surprising that this event always takes place at the beginning of the year. After all, its main purpose is to analyze the current trends in the legal market, forecast the development of legislation and business environment and, of course, to analyze the results of the past year.
This event remains unique for Ukraine as it provides a perfect platform for communication and dialogue between the top market players.
Traditionally, the focus of the forum was drawn to the outcomes of the past year and analysis of trends in the legal market in 2013. Moreover, experts outlined the events and developments that are expected to affect the legal market during the year. This year, experts also considered the impact of judicial reform and ethical issues of competition in the legal market of Ukraine.
The forum program also included two sessions devoted to the peculiarities of establishing and preserving effective business relationships with clients and methods of building up an effective partnership system in the legal business, including finance distribution and admission of new partners.
The final session of the forum was held in a form of honest discussion on issues that are behind the scenes of legal business. Among these issues: financial flows management, the role of administrative staff in the effective company management, motivation of employees, and optimization of day-to-day expenses.
