Vasil Kisil & Partners Supports Kyiv Pre-Moot Rounds of Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court 2013
On February 22, 2013, VKP's partner Oleksiy Filatov and senior associate Pavlo Byelousov acted as arbitrators in regional debates of the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court 2013, which for the first time in its history was held in Ukraine at the Institute of International Relations at Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University.
Leading arbitration practitioners from Austria, Belarus, France, Luxembourg, Russia and Ukraine were invited to act as arbitrators during the Kyiv pre-moot court.
Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court is the international student competition focusing on investment protection issues. The students present their arguments orally before tribunals of arbitration composed of investment law specialists. This year, in addition to Kyiv, regional pre-moot courts were held in Washington, DC, London, Hong Kong and Bombay. The International Rounds will be held March 18-22, 2013, in Frankfurt-on-Main (Germany).
