VKP's Counsellor Natalia Dotsenko-Belous Outlines Legal Framework for Industrial Parks' Development in Kyiv
Vasil Kisil & Partners’ Counsellor Natalia Dotsenko-Belous participated in an internet-conference on "The Outlook of Industrial Parks in Kyiv", which took place on April 18 on LІGA.net portal.
The internet-conference focused on industrial parks, particularly in the area of TPP in Troyeschina as part of an innovative industrial infrastructure, the outlook of industrial parks in Kyiv, as well as the legal aspects of the development and operation of industrial parks in the capital. The panel included Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration Ruslan Kramarenko, as well as Chair of the Board of Directors of AVEC Group Alexei Chernyshev.
Legal issues related to the establishment and operation of industrial parks were covered by Vasil Kisil & Partners’ Counsellor Natalia Dotsenko-Belous.
"According to the Law of Ukraine "On the industrial parks" from June 21, 2012 # 5018-VI, the development of an industrial park may be initiated by a state authority or a local government body authorized to manage the land. Subsequently, the initiator this development shall choose a management company through a bidding process to run the industrial park, and enters into an agreement with this company specifying the terms of establishing and operating the industrial park. Then the management company leases the land for industrial park development and seeks out potential partners who would sublease the land", - said Natalia Dotsenko-Belous explaining the algorithm of implementing this kind of project according to the law of Ukraine.
